Alcohol and Color Loss

Q: Why are there light spots on my garment after it came into contact with alcohol or other clear sugared beverages?

A: Garment areas that come in contact with ANY substance containing alcohol or sugar can stain. In some cases, the substance containing alcohol or sugar will cause the dye to bleed, leaving a darker ring on the outer edge as it dries. Unfortunately, this dye disturbance begins almost immediately after contact, so it cannot be prevented or reversed at that point. It is important to note the color loss when you bring the garment in for cleaning so we can pre-spot these items and improve the chances if them coming clean.
