Business & Route Development Manager
The Business & Route Development Manager (BRDM) position is responsible for establishing and delivering against sales and client experience targets to meet the company’s growth and client satisfaction objectives. Responsibilities will include direct B2B and B2C sales, and management of the Route Drivers, including training, development, setting goals and objectives, and continuous improvement in route sales performance.

Essential Functions:
• Develop strategies and plans to build business and achieve company sales goals
• Achieve direct sales and client experience targets
• Manage key client relationships and lead closing of strategic opportunities
• Lead by example, with good ethics and integrity, including following all company policies
• Actively manage Route and/or sales staff, including designing route and route process, defining compensation, advising on daily issues, and providing performance management
• Coach and develop Route Drivers by demonstrating skills and riding route on a regular basis
• Train route drivers to sell our services, manage inventory, and handle client garments
• Set goals and objectives and tracks results for each Route Valet
• Ensure compliance with any DOT regulations and that driver safety training is regularly held
• Collaborate with Store managers to coordinate productions and delivery activities
• Create a culture of success, modelling commitment to quality service and high performance
• Compile information and data related to client and prospect interactions from company POS system and other sources to assist senior management in reporting and decision making
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and route expense budgeting
• Monitor client, surrounding market, and competitor activity to provide feedback for senior management and other company functions
• Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, courteous, and reliable with outstanding organizational skills
• Computer skills – Microsoft office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required
• Analytical and planning abilities
• Prior sales experience required; route experience preferred
• Positive leader; 2-3 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
